Hitting the Slopes
The Pittsburgh Youth Initiative invites all to a day of skiing at Hidden Valley Resort on Saturday, January 22, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Participants should meet at the ski lodge for tickets that can be purchased at a reduced rate: lift tickets, $15; ski rental, $10; snowboard rental, $15.

EYE on Episcopal Youth
Plan now to be among those representing the diocese at the national 2011 Episcopal Youth Event (EYE). This once in every three year event takes place June 22-26 on the campus of Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, followed by several days of mission work in the Twin Cities.
The cost of the trip is $295 for food, lodging, and participation in the program. Transportation details are to be determined.
Registration is limited to 32 youth and eight adults from each diocese. Registration begins January 3 first-come, first-served. To secure your place, send a $100 check payable to "The Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh" with "EYE" in the memo line to St. Paul's Episcopal Church c/o The Rev. Kris Opat, 1066 Washington Rd.
