Education for Ministry, EfM, is now accepting students for the 2012-2013 class.
Classes begin in September, meet weekly, and end in early June. There are two choices for study this year:
- Wednesday evenings, 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at St. Paul's, Mt. Lebanon
- Thursday mornings, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Calvary Church, East Liberty
Through study, prayer, and theological reflection, EfM groups move toward a new understanding of the fullness of God's kingdom:
- By examining our own beliefs and their relationship to our culture and the tradition of our Christian faith, participants learn what it means to be effective ministers in the world.
- In coming to terms with the notion that everything we do has potential for manifesting the love of Christ, we discover that our ministry is at hand wherever we turn.
