The Vision of Christ in the Book of Job Using the Art of William Blake

Trinity Cathedral, 328 Sixth Avenue, Downtown, presents a three-week series that will weave text and art together during the Wednesday lunch hour beginning Wednesday, September 4, from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. Admission is free, all are welcome, come and go as you need to. Bring your drink and snack.

The Book of Job, in which the man who has all this world offers loses everything but his faith in God, is one of the most elusive books in the Old Testament.

A series of paintings by 18th century artist and visionary William Blake, inspired by the book, provides a unique way of entering its mysterious world, showing the vision of Christ at its heart.
