The annual St. Michaels’ Country Fair will take place Saturday June 6th from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the fairfield adjacent to the parish in Ligonier.
A tradition for more than fifty years, the fair is a wonderful time for everyone. The parish hall will become a giant rummage sale, old books will be for sale, and there will be a "white elephant” sale, which often includes some very nice antiques.
Food will include our famous crepes and mushroom sandwiches as well as hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and much more. The deli booth will provide freshly baked cakes and cookies. And of course, there will be children’s games.
Music will be provided by the jazz ensemble "One Accord" led by Tony Jackson from St. Stephen’s, Wilkinsburg, whose youth ministry is supported by St. Michaels’.
All proceeds from the fair go back into the community to support such groups as Meals On Wheels, Christian Charities, and YMCA scholarships.
