On Tuesday, November 24, 7:30 p.m., the interfaith clergy association of Squirrel Hill, Point Breeze, and Greenfield will sponsor the 33rd Annual Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service. This year the event will be held at Beth Shalom synagogue at the corner of Beacon and Shady Avenues in Squirrel Hill. The speaker will be The Rev. Cynthia Bronson Sweigert, rector of the Church of the Redeemer, Squirrel Hill.
Participants in this service will include the Jewish, Muslim, Ba’hai, Hindu, and Christian communities. Everyone is welcome! There will be a special offering of food taken up for the Food Pantry of the East End Cooperative Ministry, as well as a cash offering for the Squirrel Hill-Greenfield Meals on Wheels program.
The Church of the Redeemer in Squirrel Hill will offer Holy Eucharist with music on Thursday, November 26,Thanksgiving Day, at 11:00 a.m.
