Dear Ones,
An article written by the Rt. Rev. Austin Pardue, IV Bishop of Pittsburgh, caught my attention in the July/August edition of Sharing magazine. Titled, Be Sure to Pray for Yourself, the article was originally published in 1974. Bishop Pardue is remembered for introducing a healing, prayer-centered spirituality during his tenure in Pittsburgh and his words in this regard are still applicable today, and tomorrow as well, for our journeys.
The article is reprinted with permission here. May it serve as a reminder to each of us as we transition from season to season in our lives, for our health, and as a testimony of His healing love.
Sharing is the official publication of the International Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL), and is an interdenominational, international magazine of Christian healing, dedicated to the healing of body soul and spirit. To find out more about OSL and Christian healing please visit www.orderofstluke.org.
Until next time, may your garden bloom with His beauty and fragrance.
