Duquesne University will host the 10th Annual Pittsburgh Pastoral Care Conference on Friday, May 20, 2011, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Bayer Hall, 600 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15282.
The theme for this year's conference is "Healing & Wellness – Mind, Body & Spirit"
Sally Wiggin, WTAE-TV news anchor, will serve as master of ceremonies. The Rev. Dr. Daniel Hall, M.D., M.Div, M.H.Sc., an Episcopal priest and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and Core Investigator at the VA Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion, will be the keynote speaker.
In addition to the keynote presentation, participants will attend three workshops covering addiction and recovery, mental health and wellness, family and marriage, community outreach, and context for ministry.
