Are you feeling a call to ordained ministry or do you know someone who is curious about ordained ministry?
The Rt. Rev. Robert H. Johnson and the Commission on Ministry are hosting an Ordination Exploration Day on Saturday, June 6, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church in East Liberty/Shadyside. Lunch is included. This event is for anyone interested in learning more about the ordination process in the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh of the Episcopal Church in the United States.
The Ordination Exploration Day is an opportunity to meet Bishop Johnson and the Commission members. The day is designed to provide information that will be helpful in understanding diaconal and priestly ministry, and how the process works, from exploration through ordination.
You must pre-register for this event. Please email your name, parish, and the number attending to office@episcopalpgh.org. Please direct any questions to me at Lou@stpaulspgh.org or 412-531-7153, ext. 11.
Directions to Calvary Church may be found on their website, www.calvarypgh.org, by clicking here. We hope to see you or someone you refer on June 6.
