Are you in the know about what is going on throughout the diocese, with parish properties, or with the news that is likely to be made at this summer's General Convention? Are you in the know about the best way to respond if asked about any of these topics? Are you in the know about the countless good works being done through our church, how to effectively spread the word and, as a result, help our congregations grow?
The next diocesan Leadership Day will focus on who we are as Episcopalians in southwest Pennsylvania and how to make that message alive for a wider audience. We will be assisted by two prominent Episcopal communicators, Jim Naughton and Rebecca Wilson of Canticle Communications. They will lead us through a hands-on workshop on how to use storytelling, media relations, community visibility, social media, and other communication tools to convey the best about who we are and tell it in a consistent way.
Who can attend? This invitation extends to members of diocesan governing bodies and committee chairs, and especially to parish clergy, vestries, those responsible for parish communications, and any parishioner who wishes to attend.
