The Diocesan Commission on Racism has scheduled it's annual workday for Saturday, June 23rd at the Community of Celebration in Aliquippa from 9:00 a.m. until about 4:00 p.m.
We evaluate the current years work based on the plans that were made at the previous years meeting and set our priorities for the coming year.
Our meeting will focus on communicating, disseminating and marketing effectively the Anti- Racism activities within the Diocese and the wider Church, as well in some programs and activities within the community.
Every member of the diocese is encouraged to submit any suggestions about the diocesan program to Nancy Travis Boldon, chair of the commission, at nltbolden@yahoo.com.
The next workshop is scheduled for October 4 & 5, 2012. The location will be announced soon.
