Pittsburgh Baroque Ensemble Christmas Concert
Sunday, November 28 at 3:00 p.m.
Featuring selections from Bach's Christmas Oratorio and Handel's Messiah, performers will include PBE Founder Rick Murrell (Baroque Trumpet), Lara Cotrill (Soprano), Thomas Octave (conductor and Bass/Baritone), Jim Whipple (Baroque Bassoon), and Raquel Winnica-Young (Mezzo-soprano/Alto).
Another highlight of the concert will be a performance by Ellwood City native Corinne Morini (Soprano), winner of the PBE's inaugural Aria Competition (held in October 2010 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church).
