Our next quarterly Leadership Day will be held on Saturday, August 18 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mt. Lebanon. As you know, these days provide opportunity to gather together to vision and plan for our future as a diocese. I am pleased that bishop-elect Dorsey McConnell will be present for this Leadership Day.
As has become our custom at the August session, the morning will focus on the diocesan calendar for the next year and a half. For this reason, we would like to have comprehensive representation from diocesan committees and organizations. Please be prepared to place on the Master Calendar all dates of any meetings or special events you will be holding between now and the end of 2013. It is also useful to include any deadlines for actionable items that your committee may have (for example grant or scholarship application deadlines).
If you personally cannot attend, please designate someone with authority to speak for your group and have them pre-register in your place.
In order to have an accurate count for the lunch which will be provided, please register for this event by Monday, August 13 at www.episcopalpgh.org/dld. If you are unable to register online, please call Judi Rogers in the diocesan office at 412-721-0853.
Faithfully,
Kenneth L. Price, Jr.
