Joseph Doddridge is ordained deacon by Bishop White and returns to Western Pennsylvania after studying with Methodists and Presbyterians in Washington County. Doddridge's Memoirs include his ministry in Pennsylvania.

Francis Reno is ordained priest by Bishop White and returns to Western Pennsylvania to continue his ministry, offering services both at Chartier's Creek and in Pittsburgh. The 1794 whiskey rebellion divides his congregation, and he leaves in 1799 for what will become Beaver County.
