The convention admits 8 parishes from the western part of the state to union with the diocese. They included St. Paul's and St. Peter's in Erie County, St. Peter's in Butler, St. John's and St. James in Venango County, Grace Menallen in Fayette County, Trinity in Connellsville, and St. Peter's in Washington County.

The diocese elects Henry U. Onderdonk to be assistant bishop of Pennsylvania with the right to succeed as bishop. Among those signing the testimonials were lay or clergy members from Erie, Waterford, Meadville, Kittanning, Butler, Pittsburgh, and Greensburg.
