Christ Church, Meadville is admitted to union with the Diocese of Pennsylvania, and the Deputy from Christ Church, Brownsville, in Fayette County is seated and the parish restored to the list of parishes in union with the diocese.

Bishop White and Jackson Kemper resume their attempt to visit the western parishes.
Bishop White confirms 135 people at Trinity Church, Pittsburgh and then on the 11th consecrates the new Trinity Church building, designed by the Rev. John Henry Hopkins. Later that day he travels to Beaver County to hold services at the churches there.
Bishop White continues his western tour with confirmations in Brownsville (11), Connellsville (6) and Greensburg (60). He also consecrates buildings in Brownsville and Greensburg.
