St. Augustine’s moved from the North Side to the Hill in 1915. Efforts to buy lots on Wylie Avenue failed.  Illness sidelined their talented minister, the Rev. Scott Wood, the Rev. Sheldon Hale Bishop, missionary at St. Philip's then served both parishes.
