The Commission on Racism will offer Anti-racism Training on March 4 and 5 at St. Thomas Church in Oakmont.
Because this workshop has been specially tailored for those directly involved in the search process for a new bishop, participation in this training session is limited to members of the Standing Committee and the newly-appointed Nomination Committee and Transition Committee. All others are being asked to plan to attend the next training weekend, scheduled for Oct. 7-8, 2011.
The sessions begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday and will conclude by 5:00 p.m. Saturday following a mid-afternoon closing Eucharist. Meals will be provided; a free-will offering is suggested to help defray the cost of the food. There is no cost to attend, but a space reservation is required.
The program is scheduled for Friday, March 4, 3:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 5, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
