Anglican Chant is one of the great treasures of the church, but is a declining practice for psalm singing. This workshop seeks to preserve and promote the use of Anglican Chant in the parish by providing practical approaches this time-honoured method. Church musicians, choir members, clergy, and lay people of all ages and from all denominations may benefit from attending.
This workshop will cover:

♦ Practice
♦ Methods of pointing
♦ Singing
♦ Accompanying
♦ How to approach with choirs and congregation
♦ Resources
There will be a tea break later in the afternoon.
