An extension of the International Day of Peace observance, an evening of documentary films on peace and war will be presented at Calvary Episcopal Church on Saturday, September 22, from 7-10 p.m. It will feature the work of Pittsburgh filmmakers and include a panel discussion.
The work of two Pittsburgh filmmakers will be featured, Barbra Labbie (Corner Voices) and Ralph Vituccio (In Service–From Baghdad to Pittsburgh). A portion of The People Speak, which features a number of dramatic readings by noted actors in a film inspired by the book A People's History of the United States will also be shown.
The panel discussion, moderated by Tom Slater, will include the filmmakers, Barbra and Ralph, and some local veterans.
