Dear friends,
Two and a half years ago, in April, 2022, Elaine Zevkovich joined the diocesan office staff as Treasurer and Director of Administration. Today, I write to announce that Elaine has decided to retire, effective January 3, 2025. Retiring early from her thirty plus year-long career in finance and management is a long-held dream Elaine has entertained, and now is the time for her to fulfill this dream.
Hence, in January, Elaine will step down from her full-time position. Thankfully, she will be available as a resource to train the person or persons who will take up the duties related to the position. While this change is a joyful one for Elaine, it is sad change for us. Elaine is an extremely gifted person, who has and is diligently working toward the mission of our diocese. She is an invaluable, wise, and dedicated member of our team, and we will miss her.
Please join me in extending to Elaine our heartfelt gratitude and good wishes as she prepares to enter this exciting new phase of life.
