The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh has launched its own drive to re-organize its board and membership and is inviting women from all parishes to join that effort. The ECW’s immediate past treasurer, Linda Getts, is leading the re-organization. She points out that some, but not all, ECW board members belong to parishes that now see themselves aligned with the Province of the Southern Cone based in South America. Getts says the composition, leadership, and mission of the ECW must remain directed at benefiting the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh and the Episcopal Church of the United States.
