Bishop McConnell is attending the Fall House of Bishops meeting, hosted this year by the Episcopal Diocese of Taiwan.
The Diocese of Taiwan was established in the late 1940's by Chinese Anglicans escaping mainland China, and since much of the early Anglican leadership in Taiwan was provided by American military chaplains, it was formally recognized in 1954 as a diocese and a member of Province VIII of the Episcopal Church.
+Dorsey is filing regular reports from Taipei and other parts of Taiwan though his Iron City Bishop blog at www.episcopalpgh.org/bishopsblog/.
