Bishop Kenneth L. Price, Jr. will be introduced to the diocese at his first public gathering in Pittsburgh since accepting a nomination to serve as Provisional Bishop.
The Standing Committee is recommending that Diocesan Convention approve Bishop Price’s selection when it convenes October 17. As the provisional bishop, he would assume full ecclesiastical authority as head of the diocese until a regular diocesan bishop is elected.
All are welcome to meet the bishop on Monday, September 28, 7 p.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church, 315 Shady Avenue.
